By all other accounts, John Pridmore's wife Anne Higgins, 1663-1704, is the daughter of Richard Higgins and Mary Yates, yet she is absent in this account.
ReplyDeleteI would rely very heavily on the work of this famlily tree: Thomas Graham 2-053006 (Owner: MaryLazarus21).
According to the Family Tree: BEATTIE (Owner: wilt1267), they have no Anne, but they do have Lydia 1664-1715 living in Piscataway....our girl?
ReplyDeleteA number of Family trees cite the death of Lydia at 1715, many also cite the place of death in Young, TX.....I am sure this is a misinterpretation of others having cited her as dying Young.....ancentry will give strange hints sometimes thinking a comment is about geography.
ReplyDeleteRichard came from Barnstable, MA on Cape Cod. In August I spent a day at the Sturgis Library there going over all of the reference materials trying to find the connection of Anne, John's wife, to Richard without success.
ReplyDeleteThe progression of children listed in his bio is confirmed by all of the original records.
Unless Anne really is Lydia, we apparently have the wrong family.
Next step is to look a copy of the marriage certificate in New Jersey
